Tremend is looking for an Senior Python QT Developer to join our team of bright thinkers and doers. You’ll use your problem-solving creativity to figure out our client’s most complex and challenging problems across different industries. Your Impact:

• Port, modify, and add new features to an existing QT interface for a Battery Management System project
• Work closely with the team to manage threads that communicate and generate events within the system, integrating various communication protocols (e.g., SPI)
• Debug and resolve multi-threading and multi-processing issues, ensuring smooth operation of the application in an automotive environment
• Collaborate with the principal engineer on UI/UX considerations to enhance the existing interface.
   

Your Skills & Experience:

• Proven experience with Python, particularly in low-level applications
• Extensive experience with QT and Python QT projects (ideally using PySide6)
• Strong understanding of multi-threading/multi-processing, with experience in environments where multiple threads communicate and generate events.
• Familiarity with debugging multi-threaded applications in a complex system
• Ability to work independently and efficiently.

Set Yourself Apart With:

• PySide6 experience
• Experience with Traits packages
• UI/UX design experience in QT – while a principal engineer can lead in this area, the ability to contribute is an advantage
• Experience working with communication protocols such as SPI in multi-threaded systems is a plus.
