Tremend is looking for an Embedded Software Engineer to join our team of bright thinkers and doers. You’ll use your problem-solving creativity to figure out our client’s most complex and challenging problems across different industries. Your Impact:

• Develop and optimize low-level drivers for state-of-the-art microcontrollers, processors, and other automotive components, adhering to safety standards such as ISO26262
• Focus on applications including Vehicle Networking, Power Management Integrated Circuits, Radar Systems, and Vision Systems
• Ensure a smooth user experience by creating examples, system applications, user manuals, and supporting multiple compilers and IDEs (e.g., S32 Design Studio, Tresos)
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (hardware design, PCB design, system, customer support) to create and maintain requirements, designs, architectures, configurations, code, and tests for various drivers
• Participate in continuous improvement efforts to optimize software performance, scalability, and safety.
   

Your Skills & Experience:

• Minimum 2 years of experience in embedded systems development
• Strong programming skills in ANSI C
• Hands-on experience with microcontroller peripherals and external devices, such as power management devices, transceivers, and external flash
• Knowledge of ARM architecture and experience debugging embedded targets and low-level software
• Familiarity with Makefiles and scripting languages
• Strong command of English, both written and spoken.

Set Yourself Apart With:

• Experience with XML and integration of development environments (IDEs)
• Knowledge of AUTOSAR specifications and development standards.
• Basic understanding of networking protocols (e.g., OSI model, TCP/IP, TLS, MQTT, HTTP)
• Knowledge of automotive communication protocols (e.g., CAN, LIN, FlexRay)
• Familiarity with security concepts
• Experience with electronics and data acquisition tools such as logic analyzers and oscilloscopes.
