Tremend is seeking a highly skilled and hands-on QA Engineering Manager to join our team of bright thinkers and doers. In this role, you will balance leadership responsibilities with hands-on technical expertise. You will directly contribute to developing and implementing advanced QA strategies while managing a team of talented QA engineers to deliver innovative solutions across various industries.

Your Impact:

• Lead and manage a team of Quality Engineers across diverse projects, fostering collaboration and accountability
• Recruit, onboard, and develop team members to cultivate their professional growth and technical expertise
• Oversee resource allocation to ensure alignment with business and project objectives
• Build a culture of psychological safety, innovation, and continuous improvement
• Design and implement scalable, maintainable test automation frameworks for web, mobile, API, and backend platforms
• Develop, review, and optimize automated test scripts using modern programming languages such as Java, JavaScript, or TypeScript
• Test distributed systems using messaging platforms like Kafka, RabbitMQ, or similar tools
• Apply containerization technologies (Docker) and orchestration platforms (Kubernetes) for testing cloud-native applications
• Leverage cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) to test dynamic environments
• Explore emerging technologies, such as AI/ML, to enhance QA practices and adopt QA Ops methodologies
• Utilize observability and monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, DataDog) to ensure production-grade performance and reliability
• Define and execute QA strategies that emphasize Shift Left testing and integrate with CI/CD pipelines
• Develop and enforce SDLC policies, standards, and procedures aligned with industry best practices
• Collaborate with engineering, product, and DevOps teams to deliver high-quality, innovative solutions
• Support presales and client discussions by demonstrating QA expertise and influencing new business opportunities
• Implement measurable KPIs such as defect leakage reduction, automation coverage, and release cycle optimization.

Your Skills & Experience:

•  7+ years in Quality Assurance, including at least 3 years in a leadership role
• Proven ability to lead and mentor teams, manage performance, and foster a culture of excellence
• Skilled in technical supervision, stakeholder alignment, and cross-functional collaboration
• Proficiency in modern programming languages like Java, JavaScript, or TypeScript
• Skilled in automation tools and frameworks such as Selenium, Appium, Cypress, or Playwright
• Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines, Shift Left testing, and performance testing tools like Gatling or JMeter
• Expertise in distributed system testing with messaging platforms like Kafka or RabbitMQ
• Knowledge of containerization tools (Docker) and orchestration platforms (Kubernetes)
• Advanced understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud), microservices architectures, and RESTful APIs
• Proficient with observability tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, or DataDog for monitoring and reliability improvements.
