Tremend is looking for a Product Owner with deep expertise in Product Information Management to join our team of bright thinkers and doers. This role is focused on providing strategic business analysis and consultation to help align PIM systems with the organization's complex business processes across multiple departments. The position involves working closely with internal stakeholders to understand current workflows and business requirements, advising on how the PIM can best be configured to support these needs.
Your Impact:
- Conduct thorough business analysis of product data workflows across different business units, including merchandising, supply chain, finance, and compliance
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand current product lifecycle processes and identify key requirements for the PIM system
- Define and document the product data model, ensuring it addresses the specific needs of various business functions and complies with market regulations
- Advise on best practices for optimizing PIM systems to meet both business and technical requirements, focusing on pre-implementation strategy
- Provide insights on how the PIM will support cross-functional business processes, particularly in product development, legal compliance, and market syndication
- Assist in the development of a comprehensive PIM strategy, focusing on business process alignment and data model configuration before the implementation phase
- Support internal teams by ensuring that all business processes are captured and integrated into the PIM design, enabling smooth product data management across global markets.
Your Skills & Experience:
- 10+ years of experience in business consulting, business analysis, or a related role within FMCG or a comparable industry
- In-depth knowledge of PIM systems and their role in supporting product data management and business workflows
- Strong experience in analyzing and documenting business processes, particularly in relation to product lifecycle management and product information systems
- Understanding of global product compliance standards, including GDSN and GS1 data syndication
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present findings and recommendations clearly to senior stakeholders
- Ability to work independently within a cross-functional environment, providing strategic analysis and recommendations before implementation.
