Tremend is looking for a QA Automation Engineer (Java or C#)  to join our team of bright thinkers and doers. You’ll use your problem-solving creativity to figure out our client’s most complex and challenging problems across different industries. Your Impact:

• Plan, write, execute, and refactor test cases
• Test and certify features for release
• Conduct peer reviews for tests, test cases, automation scripts
• Conduct root-cause analysis and track defect resolution to completion
• Participate in cross-teams and internal customer feature demonstrations
• Regression testing: a part of testing is done by tests written in Cucumber using Selenium with Java and Spring framework, triggered from Azure DevOps, and a part manually
• Writing automated tests with Java or C# (Cucumber, Selenium and Rest assured)
• Research, recommend and implement tools as needed with the goal of increasing automation
• Be meticulous about documentation and maintaining a robust log of all test cases and test results
• Report issues to provider via bug tracking tool (Jira)
• Identify the root causes of the bugs using logs
• Perform load testing.

Your Skills & Experience:

• 4+ years prior experience as Quality Assurance Tester
• Good knowledge of OOP – Java or C#
• Automated test frameworks and tools, e.g. Serenity, Cucumber, Selenium, Appium, Rest Assured 
• Test analysis skills (ideally ISTQB qualification)
• API and web services knowledge (REST)
• Degree in Computer Science or related engineering discipline or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Well organized – able to plan own work and track progress against a plan
• Methodical worker, high attention to detail and tenacious problem solver
• Strong communicator, both written & oral; able to explain technical issues and solutions to peers
• Experience with logs investigations
• Practical experience with Spring; Cucumber; Maven; Linux; Kibana
• Knowledge of CI/CD processes and the corresponding tools like Maven, Git, SVN, Azure
• Practical experience in Agile frameworks (Scrum) and tools (Jira)
• SQL practical experience
• Experience with mobile testing
• Experience with web applications.
